Adopt a plant is an art project in Greets Green, West Bromwich.
10 individuals from this area decided to adopt a plant and agreed to
participate in documenting the growth of their plant and of the
project itself.
The project is run by artist Ania Bas.

Have just recived an e-mail with information of what was actually published on the newspaper. First printed piece about my project. It is all about how it is possible to spend £4000 on compost, flowerpots and seeds. (more…)

Morris is taking me to his house to show me how his and Pushpa’s plant is doing. He is taking care of Pushpa’s plant while she is away. Both plants are on the windowsill in his bedroom. He has them in this intimate space that he shares with his wife. Plants are witnesses to their private life.
